Help Esti get treatment for her eating disorder

Hi, my name is Dania Brener. I'm raising money to help my patient Esti get access to the in patient eating disorder clinic, Monte Nido.

Esti comes from an orthodox Jewish home where she suffered physical and psychological abuse throughout her childhood. She was beaten and sexually assaulted and since then has struggled with her mental health. She moved to NYC with no money or family support and has been moving from shelter to shelter, finding herself in more complex and dangerous situations. Through those rough years, her eating disorder, mental and physical health has deteriorated considerably. She tried what she could on her own but with no insurance and no financial support, she cannot get the help she needs. After years of suffering, we finally found the place where she will be able to seek the treatment she needs. With your help, we can send her to get treatment at the specialized clinic Monte Nido in NYC where she will spend 8 weeks in an in patient facility in order to get the emotional and educational tools she needs to start living a more normal life.

Monte Nido provides a combination of group therapy modalities, psychiatric oversight, medical psychotherapeutic support, nutrition education, meal support, and mindfulness training. Clients work on behavior, mood, relationship, movement, food and weight goals, gaining increased freedom and responsibility for handling recovery challenges. The tools, skills and ongoing support services will help her to become fully recovered and to maintain recovery.
