Help Ethan fight Aplastic anemia

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tracy, my son is 10yrs old and he has been diagnosed with a rare and serious condition called Aplastic Anemia. His bone marrow has stopped making red blood cells and the only thing that will help is a bone marrow transplant. At the moment he has regular blood tests and blood or platelets transfusions, sometimes both. He is extremely vulnerable and doesn't leave the house unless to go for a walk or hospital visits. If he was to catch a cold or anything he would be admitted straight to hospital. This could be the case for a long time to come. If and when he gets a bone marrow transplant it will take more months to build up his immune system again. So I am trying to raise some money so he can eventually have a holiday with his family and start to lead a normal life again one day. He will need chemotherapy for 10 days in preparation for a transplant and will lose his hair so I will be shaving my head and doing some long runs to help raise awareness. Ethan has a tough journey ahead and will be in hospital for 8 weeks when he gets his transplant. After Ethan has the chemo, he will be at his most vulnerable and won't be able to leave his hospital room, his body is basically being re set and he will have to have all his childhood immunisations again. I am so grateful for Ethans donor coming forward and giving him a second chance at life. Ethan has now also been diagnosed with a rare blood condition called TMA and has just started an expensive course of medication from America that has only previously been used on cancer patients si he is even more vulnerable now and unfortunately still won't be able to start school. Hopefully this medication will start to make a difference and he can begin a normal life at some point. Even more so he needs a family holiday to look forward too.
Update, recently had bloods sent off, hoping we have the TMA under control now, time will tell. Ethan now is fighting graft vs host disease, the treatment was weekly for a few months but now we are fortnightly, hopefully in a few months we can think about his hickman line being removed if we can fight this off.
