Help Ethan March His Age Out Summer

Hi everyone! If you don't know me, my name is Ethan Hacker and I am fundraising to spend my fourth and final year with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. Ever since I was a freshman in high school it was a dream of mine to march in a world class drum corps, and I was fortunate enough to get to live out my dream over the course of the past three years. In DCI (drum corps international), you can only participate until you are 21, so this year is my final season of eligibility. This summer I am serving on the member leadership team as the "Horn Sergeant". I am looking forward to this incredible opportunity not only because it will grow me as a person and a leader but because it will give me skills I can apply to my future career as a music educator.

The Madison Scouts have taught me countless lessons about life, but most of all has taught me how to be a better, more caring and understanding person. I am forever grateful for the opportunities the corps has provided for me.

I will apply the funds towards tuition for the summer (tuition is approx: $4750-5000). Tuition goes towards housing, food, show design, and educational staff. These are all very important things to allow the corps to operate effectively. Over the course of the summer, I will spend 85 days traveling the country, performing in front of thousands of people, and building relationships with those around me. It is truly incredible that I get to experience this dream. Anything you are willing to donate would be very beneficial, go straight towards my tuition, and make my final year of drum corps my best one yet.
