Help a Couple and Their Beloved Dog Recover After a Devastating Fire
Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,
On 11/27/2024, tragedy struck Ethan May-Aguilar, Miyra Rosa, and their sweet dog Apollo, when they were alerted by their neighbor in the middle of night that their house was in flames. Amid the chaos, Ethan bravely rushed back into the flames to save a frightened Apollo, who had ran back into the house as the family was escaping. After a few hours, the home that had been consumed by the blaze finally collapsed, leaving the family with nothing but their lives.
Thankfully, Apollo is safe and unharmed. Unfortunately, Miyra suffered 1st degree burns and Ethan was left with 5% of his body covered in deep 2nd degree burns after running out with Apollo in his arms. Ever since the house burnt down, he has been a patient of the hospital's burn unit to recover from his injuries.
Firefighters were unable to contain the flames that engulfed their home, and everything Miyra and Ethan had owned was lost. Although items are replaceable, their cherished home and belongings that were connected to so many irreplaceable memories has been reduced to ashes.
This loving couple has always been there for others, sharing kindness and warmth. Now, they need our support to start over. The funds raised will go toward:
Medical costs for Ethan.
Temporary housing and essential living expenses.
Supplies and care for Apollo.
Rebuilding their lives, piece by piece.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing their story to help spread the word. Together, we can help this family and show them they’re not alone.
Thank you for your generosity, love, and support.
