Help Ethan's Cats Get Vital Medical Care
Donation protected
Hi I’m Ethan, a 25 y/o trans man. My 2 cats Chiron and Annie were rushed to emergency a month apart and diagnosed with chronic conditions that I’m in the process of getting treatment for. We’re desperate for help since my kitties are like my kids and mean everything to me.
In September, Chiron my younger cat (the darker one) went to emergency for a first-time asthma attack. He received steroids but needs follow-up care. His x-ray revealed a flat diaphragm, and he will need further treatment to keep his symptoms in check.
Annie my white calico was taken to emergency on 10/3 when she peed outside the litter box and was experiencing other signs of a urinary issue. The vets informed me that she is likely older than previously thought and her kidney function and oral health are declining faster due to her older age, about 7-9. She will need oral surgery, follow up visits, and likely a kidney prescription diet. The oral surgery alone is estimated to be ~$1000.
I’ve been attempting to cover all this on my own and my generous partner and family have helped where they can. But between the cats' emergency visits and having to put down my guinea pig during this time, I'm struggling to keep up with everything.
I currently work 3 jobs and I feel like I have exhausted my options so I’m asking for help from anyone who is able to share or donate. Every cent donated would be used for the cats’ veterinary costs. You would be helping me and my precious cats have more happy years together❤️
Please see below for more pictures and their emergency vet receipts.
