Help Etta and Family Honor Fuzzy's Memory

Donation protected
On November 6, 2024, Gerald “Fuzzy” Gennarelli unexpectedly passed away. He is survived by his disabled wife Etta, his three stepchildren Lowana, Jason, and David, and five step-grandchildren Alexis, Bailey, Karissa, Leyton, and Zayn. Fuzzy had a special love for God, writing, painting, and his wife Etta, in which he showed his passions and love daily.

From the moment we met, he showed us the colorful world of art he lived in. He could turn anything into a beautiful masterpiece with a couple of swipes of a paintbrush. He would sit back for hours with his radio playing music and painting his heart away. Every single one of his paintings was beautiful and unique in its own way. Just as unique as he was, always looking for ways to put a smile on even a stranger's face. He was goofy beyond measure, cracking jokes, making silly faces, doing math tricks, or wordplay games to get your gears turning. And oh boy, did he love a good crossword puzzle, hunting in every newspaper for a new one to complete.

He spent his time with us doing what he loved but also caring for the love of his life, his wife Etta. Fuzzy and Etta were married for 20 years this month, and 19 of those 20 years he doubled as her full-time caretaker. Fuzzy and Etta got close to one full year into their marriage when a tragic health scare happened that left Etta fully disabled and in a wheelchair. Fuzzy, without hesitation, took all of it under his belt and remained strong for her and us kids. He cooked for her, cleaned for her, bathed her, dressed her, scheduled appointments for her, and took care of any and all day-to-day needs. He would walk miles to get her favorite meal if it put a smile on her face because she was the love of his life, and her happiness was his happiness. He was a true blessing to her!

This is a very difficult time for our family and most especially our mother, his wife, Etta. Fuzzy was the glue that kept our family running for the past 20 years, and without him, it is going to be very difficult. We are asking for donations to help the family out with a proper cremation and celebration of life for Fuzzy, as well as transitional costs to make sure his wife Etta is able to maintain her health and be cared for in this time of loss. Anything at all helps. We thank you, love you, and ask that you hold our family close in prayer at this time!
