Help Eusebio recover over 10k worth stolen tools

Donation protected

Eusebio is a gardener that has been serving Los Angeles communities for over 30 years. On Thursday, July 15th, Eusebio's lifeline suffered a major blow. His working truck, equipment, and tools valued at over $10,000 were stolen outside of a McDonald’s. Eusebio has been working hard every day to make money to support his family and knows he needs our help to get back on his feet.

On his regular routine, Eusebio stopped at the McDonalds on Lakewood and Gallatin in Downey for a coffee. Within minutes, he saw his truck, along with his gardening tools, were stolen. Here below is video footage from the McDonalds showing that a car followed him to the parking lot and waited for Eusebio to leave his car to proceed to steal his tools and vehicle. The truck was soon recovered in the city of Compton but was stripped of all his equipment, equipment valued at over $10,000. There is currently an investigation and a police report was filed.

As with many immigrant stories, Eusebio started with one client and after years of hard work now he has over 25 clients and has been developing and growing his business. He has one worker who helps him and Eusebio is fully responsible for his livelihood. Eusebio migrated to the U.S. when he was 18 from Puebla, Mexico. He is married and has two kids: Jesus, 18 years old who wants to be an engineer, and Yoselin, 15. He is helping pay for his son's college courses. Eusebio lost his father only about 2 months ago, which makes this theft all the more difficult financially and emotionally.

Eusebio is 47 years old and resides in South Whittier. He is eager to recoup his losses to start working again, in hopes of not losing any clients and to continue providing for his family.
