Help Eva and Kaia Navigate Life Without Henry Alesna
Donation protected
Henry left the world too soon and was suddenly taken from us in the most tragic and unexpected way this past Friday night, August 2nd. It's completely surreal. We read and see stories like this but never think it will happen to someone we love, but it did. While working on a construction site, Henry was closing one of the bridge lanes to redirect traffic. An SUV merged out of the closed lane, collided with another vehicle, which prompted the SUV to swerve back into the closed lane where Henry was working and immediately killed on impact. Taken away far too early, Henry leaves behind his wife, Eva, and their one-year old daughter, Kaia, whose first birthday they just recently celebrated this March. We want to help lessen the financial burden for Eva and Kaia, at the very least, as no amount of money will ever bring Henry back to us.
Henry was the sole breadwinner for the household. As friends of the family, we have organized this crowdfunding to help ease the new reality Eva and baby Kaia are forced to be in. The costs associated with Henry's passing are significant. Your donations of any size are immensely appreciated and will help the family directly with childcare and living expenses for the immediate future, while also securing future education funds for baby Kaia.

Service details are further below.
A proud member of the Filipino community and devout Catholic, Henry was an amazing person whose life was only just beginning. He was the definition of a doting father, a loving husband, son, nephew, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend to everyone around him. He was a 'yes' person and was always down for anything. He was fun. He was optimistic and always saw the positive side of things and approached everything with a smile. He was the type of person you immediately felt comfortable with because his energy was authentic, pure, and genuine. He made friends everywhere he went and always treated everyone with kindness and love. His memory will be kept alive for Kaia in the stories we all share and the legacy of all of the happy memories he's shared with us through the years. Our hearts are broken for the loss of Henry. He will forever be missed.
