Evangeline Brighten Plimmer is a brave, kind-hearted, faith-filled 11-year-old girl who radiates joy and love everywhere she goes.

On March 30, 2024, after noticing a few minor (but abnormal) symptoms, Shawn and Jodi brought their daughter to the ER for evaluation of these symptoms after her soccer game. They were met with unexpected and heartbreaking news: an MRI revealed a brain tumor in Eva's brainstem.

Unfortunately, this type of tumor is inoperable due to its location in the brainstem. And while the statistics are not in Eva's favor, we continue to pray for a miracle.

Despite the pain and grief, Shawn, Jodi, Eva, and their other three children continue to stand on a firm foundation, rooted in their faith and hope in our unshakable God. They are calling on the powerful name of Jesus to carry them through this and know, with confidence, that He is in control.

This beloved family is facing the unimaginable. The thing you never dream will happen. And on top of the emotional, mental, and physical toll, this journey also comes with a huge financial burden.
