Help evacuate Mustafa and his family to safety

I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Mustafa Hamida and his family. Mustafa has asked me to paraphrase his story below, as he is not comfortable writing in English:

I'm Mustafa. I'm 28 years old and I lived my entire life in G@za. In 2014 I graduated from high school. After that I couldn't apply to college, because of the expensive college fees. But I worked for several years to save up and study in college. In 2019 I succeeded to get in Israa University in Gaza to study software engineering. Later in 2021, I graduated from college with a high GPA.

After I leave G@za, I plan to apply for an internship in software development. However, if I don't find a one, I plan to look for any job to be able to feed on my family.

Mustafa and his family were displaced in Raf@h for two months, but made the impossible decision to return to their partially destroyed home in central gaza. Their refugee camp is the target of intense bombardment.

They are trying to raise funds to cross into Egypt. All they want is to live in safety and dignity like anyone else, without having to worry about bombings and lack of food. His one year old nephew is ill, and needs medical attention.

Like all children, his young nieces and nephew deserve safety and stability, and a warm place to sleep at night.

Any donation, no matter how small, will go a long way in not only funding the exorbitant cost of passing through the R@fah crossing, but will also show the Hamida family that they are not alone.

It costs roughly $8,000 per person to make the crossing into Egypt. Any remaining funds will be used to cover the GoFundMe fees, as well as living costs such as food and medicine once the family settles in Egypt. Several people in Mustafta's family have urgent health matters, including his brother who has cancer, and his mother who is suffering from a back injury and has a herniated disc.

Mustafa has entrusted me to gather these funds and then transfer them to him, and I take that act of faith very seriously. I transfer funds immediately as they come in from donations.

The stories of suffering, violence, and loss coming out of G@z@ are incomprehnsible. Mustafa has no family abroad to help him, but I promised him I would do everything within my power to help him and his family, and I humbly ask that you help me fulfill that promise.
