Ongoing care for rescued animals @S_H_A, Ukraine.
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jodie and I am fundraising on behalf of Sanctuary Happy Animals in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. While many people have fled the war, the founder of the Sanctuary, Nina, has stayed to continue to look after the animals and to rescue and care for other animals left behind. On the 4th of April 2022, the situation took a turn for the worst and it became too dangerous for them to stay. Nina Fedorkina, the founder of the Sanctuary needs to urgently raise money to transport the animals to safety. Nina, has set up a temporary shelter in Central Ukraine and is caring for over 50 animals including horses, donkeys dogs, cats and goats and the number of animals rises every day as more displaced animals need help and as Nina drives back into the Kharkiv region to rescue any animals she see that needs help. Please help us help Nina and the animals. The Sanctuary's work can be viewed through their Instagram page Sanctuary __Happy_Animals
Updated information 24/4/22: As a new Sanctuary location has been found and all the initial shelter animals have been evacuated, the aim of the fundraiser has now shifted to support the work Nina on multiple levels. We will be providing funds to feed and care for the animals at the new Sanctuary location, support the building of dog yards and kennels to allow more animals to be brought into care including assisting a different dog shelter in Kharkiv to evacuate their dogs into Nina's care. We will also provide funds to allow Nina to drive the several hours to deliver food to the dogs and cats in the Kharkiv region that were left behind when people fled the war. The aim is that as more yards and areas are fenced/secured, more animals can be rescued and brought to the Sanctuary.
Please help by donating if you can or sharing this GoFundMe campaign.
Sincerely,
Jodie on behalf of Nina, founder of the Sanctuary Happy Animals rescue.
