Urgent support for a Refugee Family rebuilding their life
Donation protected
Hello, I'm Sean Cusick. With your incredible support, my family escaped Kharkiv, Ukraine, to Poland in March 2022. We're immensely grateful for your help. Sadly, we find ourselves in desperate need once more.
Since March 2022, we welcomed our daughter, my wife survived a bombing in Kharkiv while obtaining her passport, and had to revise our plans to relocate to the UK as we rebuild our lives. However, we are now facing numerous challenges:
- Loss of income
- Father's passing
- Mental health struggles
- Emergency hospitalization for our children
- New blood transfusion
- Facing eviction from our home months before our planned move
We urgently require financial assistance for our transition. My partner is starting a new job, but with the large amount of unplanned expenses we desperately require your help - these funds will be used for housing, food, necessities like clothes for children, while we adjust; Additionally, I'm actively seeking remote work opportunities - if you or anyone you knows of any opportunity, I would be thankful. Your support means everything to us.
Original story:
I am currently in Ukraine on a spousal visa, staying with my wife Chloe and her son Everett.
You will all be aware of the escalating international crisis in Ukraine and the advice for all UK citizens to leave. However, what about those of us with families? I can't leave Chloe and Everett behind.
Chloe's ID and passport are currently being updated to reflect her married name, consequently she has no valid travel ID. Chloe also has a medical condition that requires specialist treatment, including a blood transfusion.
We urgently need money to expedite documents, get transport and flights, and pay for medical bills and child care.
Please help my young family to evacuate to Britain.
