Help Evan and Amanda rebuild

As some of you know, my brother, Evan, and his girlfriend, Amanda, recently set out on their cross country drive to relocate from CT to CA, so my brother can continue his service with the US Army and attend the language institute in CA. On Christmas morning, they were checking out of their hotel in Albuquerque, NM, only to discover their truck and U-Haul trailer full of all of their belongings had been stolen.

 

We are beyond thankful for their safety, that they have each other, and also for the police that are helping with their case. We hope that their truck and belongings turn up, but we are also trying to be realistic.

 

I know the holidays just passed and that there is probably little to spare, but I’m hoping to raise a little money to help Evan and Amanda get started with rebuilding in their new home. They are both so humble and live well within their means (and for those that know Evan… very frugally!). Literally everything except their overnight bags that came into the hotel with them- including sentimental items and their one vehicle- were stolen. While it is just stuff, and we know they’re going to be okay, we are hoping to help them replace some items that will help them feel comfort in their new home.
