Help Evan Bring AAMU Spirit to North Alabama

Hello wonderful people!!! First, thank you so much for visiting this page!!! It truly means a lot!!! My name is Evan Dwight, and I’m a senior Biology major at Alabama A&M University. I was born and raised in the wonderful and rising city of Huntsville, AL. I’m asking for donations of truly any amount for a program/initiative that I’m trying to start called Bulldog Dreamers. ‘Bulldog Dreamers’ is a program inspired by my story. When I was very young, my parents would take me to so many AAMU sporting events where I cheered on and fell in love with the Bulldogs at a very early age. Currently, I see, tutor, mentor, and teach so many great kids here in North Alabama. These kids all over the North Alabama region are truly my pride and joys. Unfortunately, due to different circumstances, they’re not able to attend AAMU sporting events like I was at their age. So, I thought about making it my mission to bring a little piece of campus to them by spending time with them and giving out many AAMU merchandise as prizes so they can feel like a AAMU Bulldog and think about coming to A&M in the future. Just like Alabama A&M was a bright light for me, I want to spread and share that light with so many other kids all over North Alabama. I’ve been trying to self fund as much as possible, but due to health struggles, it’s been very difficult to consistently self fundraise. Therefore, I’m humbly and sincerely requesting donations of any amount to help continue the efforts of building more AAMU presence in our North AL school systems and community. There’s been a lot of progress, but a few setbacks recently in the fundraising process due to me learning how to navigate through my medical situation. Please note that ALL funds generated in this GoFundMe will help me continue to put more shirts, hats, and other merch together for my kids. I truly thank you all again for reading this story and for donating what you can. It means a bunch like these kids mean to me.
