Hi my name is Jason Martinez and I’m raising funds for my ministry partner Jacob McCowan. Jacob is an Evangelist from Fort Myers, FL and member of the Christian Music Ministry group “The New Nature”.
I met Jacob in 2011 while incarcerated at Maxwell Federal Prison Camp in Montgomery, AL. While incarcerated I witnessed God transform Jacob from menace to society to a mighty man of God. Ever since his transformation he has been on fire for God preaching the Gospel to anyone who would hear.
In 2015 Jacob joined The New Nature ministry and would join the ranks of myself and member Joey Dunlap. The group would go on to produce several Christian EDM tracks and perform at several festivals and youth groups. The group would find success on the charts with their Christian EDM Banger “What?! Vocal Remix” which reached #13 on the Soundscan Hot 100 Chart in 2017.
Jacob McCowan is an extremely humble individual with a heart for Jesus. His passion for God has allowed him to lead hundreds of people to salvation through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Just a few months ago in April of 2022 tragedy struck when Jacob was involved in a slip and fall accident which landed him in the Cape Coral hospital for emergency surgery. While at the hospital at CATScan revealed a tumor in Jacob’s brain. After two months of procedures and chemo therapy the tumor was removed but Jacob’s life would be changed forever.
Although Jacob is on the road to recovery his inability to work has been devastating to his wife, kids, and ministry. Please consider donating to this cause to help restore one of God’s mighty men.
