Help Everleigh and I get temporary housing

Hi there my names Shelby and I’m a 27 year old mom to a beautiful and sensitive 4 year old girl. Recently we just lost our housing we were in due to the person we were staying with kicking us out. I am working and I am really embarrassed to have to ask others for help when I should be able to do this myself. However, times are so hard right now everywhere and any help at all is so appreciated.

The reason I am asking for this amount is to get us into a hotel/motel until the shelter(s) call me back this week. I’m hoping for immediate housing but I’m also realistic that might not happen. I have also factored into the money our food, child care expenses, gas, laundry, etc. I believe that the amount would last us a week, maybe two if I shopped right and stayed cheap.
