Help Everleigh's Family Through This Time
Donation protected
Everleigh Brumfield has a smile that lights up a room and an infectious laugh. Within the past few weeks, she began to struggle with neurological symptoms and then was diagnosed with an aggressive, incurable, inoperable brain tumor and likely has only a few months to live.
We’re reaching out to their community for support to help ease her family’s strain during this difficult time and enable them to focus on Everleigh and her older brothers rather than on financial needs.
In the words of her loving dad Matt, “Sometimes prayers are answered with heaven on earth, and sometimes prayers are the hope of heaven to come. …We want to cry: why this little one? Why these little ones? But God is faithful. He is faithful in the answers we want and the answers we could not comprehend. We rejoice in the season we have had and the seasons we will still have. We will cherish, pray, and hope in these last months. And He is still good. The Rock and our hope: that when this season on earth ends, that Evers will be held by Jesus until that beautiful day we are reunited.”
Thank you for your love, prayer, and support for the entire Brumfield family.
Update from Matt:
I wanted to say thank you all for how you’ve loved us, prayed for us, cared for us. We are in process of getting discharged to go home. We have a follow-up appointment on Tuesday where we’ll hear more next steps, but the big thing is her beginning radiation which is 6 weeks Monday thru Friday for a few hours a day. This is the standard treatment that helps extend and care for her and hopefully give control to symptoms. After the 6 weeks they do imaging again and take note of where things are, and as many months as the Lord gives, every 3 months take imaging again or if anything changes. There are obviously so many unknowns and every day is grace from the Lord and a beautiful opportunity. Thank you for allowing me to be present with Evers and our family in this season. I know it has a cost, and I don’t take that lightly. So grateful for you all. Love you all deeply. Thank you for the investment you have (and still will) make in Evers life here until she embraces Jesus and is fully made whole. Grace and peace.
