Help Everly and her mom Brenda with medical bills

Hi my name is Brian King and I am raising money for my good friend Brenda, and her daughter Everly. This sweet young girl was diagnosed with a rare condition called Pyoderma Gangrenosum. Below is a brief breakdown from her mom Brenda on what has been going on.

“So I took Everly to Dell"s Children's Hospital on Nov 2 after picking her up from school with a dark purple bruise the size of my hand. Initially the er assumed it was just an abrasion, but on the 4th we returned and it turned into a situation that needed immediate surgery. On the 5th she had surgery and would then have procedures at least 2 a week. She had an open wound and needed a wound vac. She was discharged the day after Thanksgiving, however continued with a home wound vac and with her twice a week procedures. Last week she underwent a skin graft on her chest. She will need to be out of school a little bit more as she continues to heal and see her various drs. I didnt qualify for fmla because I had just started working at a great school as a counselor. Thankfully they are working with me so that I can return to my position as soon as Everly is cleared to return to school. Unfortunately, I am out of paid leave.”

I am recruiting all the help I can get to assist in the payment of rent, doctor bills, meals etc for Brenda and her family. She has another son named Diego as well. This family has had a really tough holiday season and Brenda’s check from work this month was $1.12.
