Help Ewe's Smile

Hi there,
Ewenice (sheep name), age 11, went for a routine dental appointment on November 1st; she was very nervous as she is on the spectrum and has general anxiety associated with anything medical-related. (Needles, etc.) During the x-rays before her cleaning, they discovered a large lesion that had hollowed out part of her lower jaw and pushed an awaiting adult tooth right out of its place.
Naturally, she is terrified. While the surgeons are optimistic that this lesion is benign (because it did not destroy her tooth but moved it), it has been recommended that it be removed and biopsied as soon as possible.
She went in for a 3D scan yesterday (Nov 8th), and her plans for immediate surgery were put on hold for several weeks until an outsourced radiologist could weigh in on her treatment.
We are devastated because we wanted to have this dealt with and behind her. Of course, we also want a definitive diagnosis to put our minds at ease.
Where we live, dental is not covered by the provincial healthcare program. Due to the location of the lesion, it is considered dental and not general health. (Something that has driven me crazy throughout this process.) While we do have insurance through my partner's work, he only started working for his studio again in July. Thus they have determined that her lesion was a pre-existing condition and have refused the majority of the costs associated with her upcoming treatment. Including the 3D scan which I paid for out of pocket, assuming I'd be reimbursed.
On top of all the surgical consultation fees, tests and scans. We will have to pay for an anesthesiologist, the removal of the lesion, the biopsy of the lesion, as well as any reconstructive surgery/orthodontics related to her weakened jaw and either the removal of her displaced teeth or realignment.
I've set out the goal as the general overall estimate her dentist could give for the upcoming fees. Even if we don't hit it (As, I realize it is quite high), every little bit helps.
I am a very proud person and hate asking for help, but when it comes to my child's needs, I will eat mud for the rest of my life to ensure her comfort and health.
Sincerely,
Bo
Thank you.
