Help Extend James's Life: A Call for Urgent Support

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help. In May 2024, my wonderful husband James was diagnosed with a stage 4 glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Despite undergoing surgery to remove most of the tumour, we received the devastating news that his condition is terminal, with an average life expectancy of only 1-2 years.

However, there is hope. Through extensive research and consultations with top Oncology and Neurology experts, we have discovered promising medical treatments that could potentially extend James's life by 3-4 years. These treatments have shown remarkable success in trials and have given families like ours a chance for more precious time together.

Unfortunately, these life-extending treatments are not funded by the NHS and come with a high cost. This is where we humbly ask for your help. We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from those around us, many asking how they can assist. So here is our "ask", we are asking for donations to help cover the cost of James's treatment. Every penny raised will go directly towards securing the best possible care for him.

We understand that not everyone may be in a position to donate, but sharing our story with your network could also make a significant difference. If we are fortunate enough to raise more funds than needed, any surplus will be donated to a charity that supports research and development for glioblastoma, ensuring that others facing this rare cancer can also benefit.
