Help Ezra Get Gender Affirming Care

My name is Ezra. I'm a transgender man and I am currently in the process of pursuing gender affirming surgery. After 4 years of working towards this goal, I have finally been able to schedule my surgery for August 1st 2024. It’s been a struggle to get to a place where all the pieces of this process are aligning - with hurdle after hurdle I’m finally approaching the finish line. I'm very grateful to be at a point in my life where I have such a strong support network to undergo something as life changing as this.

Being able to have this procedure would bring a level of peace and ease to my life that is difficult to put into words. What I can say is that every aspect of my life would change for the better. I'm grateful to have a job and insurance, to be in a place financially where I’m able to save and plan for this process as best I can. Even with my income and the insurance I have, the financial burden of this process is too much for me to take on alone. I don’t want to continue to postpone this process, so I'm calling on my community to support me in funding my top surgery this year.

These funds will help me cover my surgeons fee, hospital bills, as well as after care supplies for the 2 weeks I will be unable to work. I know times are hard for many of us these days, but any amount would make a big difference and lessen the financial burden on me.
