If you are visiting this Go Fund Me site, it's because you are family or close friends of David and Maggie. As you may have heard, their daughter, Ezra Sloan Booth, was born on November 8, 2020 at 23 weeks old, weighing 1lb. 1oz. She will need to spend the first several months of her life in the NICU at Fairfax Hospital. Of course we are all sending our love and thoughts, but we are grateful to all of you who have asked how you can help them through this difficult time.

David and Maggie live in Purcellville, Virginia, which is about an hour away from Fairfax Hospital. They are committed to being with Ezra as much as they possibly can, but they need our support. Any contribution you can offer will help Maggie and David pay for toll fares, gas money, and even a short-term rental so that they can be closer to the hospital. This will help David and Maggie worry less about the costs associated with a longterm NICU stay and focus more on being together to help baby Ezra.

David and Maggie chose the name Ezra Sloan because Ezra means "help" and Sloan means "warrior." While Ezzie needs a lot of support at the moment, we're certain that she's a fighter.
