What's a FAENA?

—FAENA is a show! It's a linguistic experiment. It’s an irreverent, sexy, divine, violent, and delightfully educational romp through the world of bullfighting. Beyond right and wrong, beyond "high art" and "low art," FAENA is an amoral clown show that follows our absurd hero, a matador named Víctor (played by Paulina Jaeger-Rosete), as his pride and machismo lead him to his inevitable DEATH, much to the chagrin of his poor, worried-sick mother, Carmen (played by Rocco Weyer.) Where's my money going?

—Good question!

1) Our first goal is to raise $500 for a lighting designer.

2)Another $200 will be set aside for props and costumes.

3)the rest will go towards expanding our fabulous, amazing, comical, multilingual, über-talented actors' stipends.

How much are you asking for? What's in it for me?

—Anything you can give is enough! As much as you're willing. That being said, big donors get these fun rewards:

-Above $15 gets a personalized comical letter.

-above $50 also gets you a faena t-shirt

-above $100 gets a PR box mailed to you.

¿Qué es una faena?

—FAENA es una obra de teatro tontito/a! Es un experimento lingüístico. Es un periplo sexy, divino, violento, y educacional a través del mundo de la tauromaquia. Más allá de lo moral y lo libertino, más allá de lo culto y lo sórdido, FAENA es una obra payasa que sigue nuestro héroe absurdo—un matador llamado Víctor (Paulina Jaeger-Rosete), y como su soberbia y machismo le lleva a su muerte inevitable, para gran desilusión de su pobre madre (Rocco Weyer) Billetes disponibles aquí.

¿Adónde va mi dinero?

—Buena pregunta!

1) Nuestra primera meta es $500 para pagar un diseñador de iluminación.

2)$200 van a pagar para disfraces.

3)el resto va a nuestros plurilingüos, talentosísimos, rehumorosos, requetefabulosos actores.

¿Y cuánto quieres?

—Danos cuanto quieras/puedas. No obstante, sí donas más que $15 recibirás:
