Help Faith Stand Up Tall
Donation protected
Hi everyone.
My daughter Faith is 17 years old. Faith lives with me, her Mum and her wee brother Taylor. She is funny, weird, caring and clever. She goes to college and loves music and animals. She loves drinking cans of Monster and going to gigs. In many ways Faith is like every other 17 year old.
Unfortunately thanks to Cerebral Palsy Faith has to use a wheelchair full time. As you can imagine this comes with a big list of physical / emotional and mental challenges. She’s had several intrusive surgeries and therapies over the years but despite all of this - is determined to live an independent and fun filled life. As her Dad, the only thing I care about is Faith’s happiness. Being parents to a child with a disability is an almighty challenge - we’ve learned over the years that you can’t beat Cerebral Palsy - but you can work alongside it. Our amazing community of family and friends have helped us so much over the years and we will always be grateful.
Faith is now blossoming into adult life and we want to give her the best chance of living happily and independently. That’s why we are fundraising to buy Faith a state of the art , stand up wheelchair in time for her 18th birthday. Standing up is something we all take for granted but something Faith has never done. Giving her that chance would improve every aspect of her life and make a massive positive impact on her physical health and self confidence. Imagine going through your whole life sitting down.
If you can help Faith get up on her feet then please donate whatever you are able to afford. Thank you so very much.
