Help families from Ukraine migrate to Australia

We are starting this fundraising to help three Ukrainian families. Two of which already arrived in Adelaide in early April.

These families had to make a choice that no one should have to make, leaving everything behind, including their loved ones to flee from the war in their country.

To be able to get them away from the war as fast as possible, they have been granted tourist visas. Now that they are arriving in Australia, they are eligible for temporary humanitarian visas, which provide them with the right to work and study English. While waiting for these visas to be processed, they need to provide care for 12 people, including four young children.

We are working hard to help them and set them up for success. We would like to help them to successfully migrate to beautiful Australia. They are eager to learn English and secure work to provide for themselves. The money will be used for things like transportation, food, clothing, English lessons, training, visa expenses and other necessities.

No one should have to go through what they have gone through; just a few months ago, they had a fulfilling life in a country they loved, surrounded by loved ones, in jobs they were passionate about, but all drastically changed. We hope their stay in Australia will bring them some peace and an opportunity to start a new life, knowing they are finally safe here.
