Help family from Gaza to safety

Hello everyone:

My name is Mohamed Al-Madani from Gaza. I stand before you as someone trying to protect my family of eight. We are trying to survive under the miserable conditions in tents. It is hard for me to find the words to describe what we face every day in Gaza. No food, no medicine, no clean drinking water, oppression, helplessness, psychological pressure, doubts, and daily trauma due to the loss of loved ones. In Gaza, it’s not just about hunger, disease, and fear; it means actual death.

Now, I find myself in this difficult situation, and I am urgently and humbly requesting your help to save my family’s life, especially my sister's children, my sick aunt, and my elderly grandmother, by getting us out of Gaza. The situation in Gaza has become unbearable due to the slow death from hunger, thirst, homelessness, the spread of diseases, and continuous bombing.

Since October 7th, due to the continuous bombing in Gaza, we were displaced from our homes in eastern Khan Younis. My family has been displaced three times. Currently, we are living in a tent with my siblings, my parents, my sick aunt, and my elderly grandmother, unfortunately under extremely poor humanitarian conditions. There is a shortage of food, water, and toilets, and the weather is harsh to live in a thin plastic tent. We lack the basic necessities of life.

The past months have been full of hell and horror. This war has lasted too long, and our mental health and lives are constantly at risk. We have reached a stage where there is no hope left in Gaza, and it feels like we are waiting for death. Even if a ceasefire is reached, the destruction in Gaza in all its forms cannot be quickly repaired.

To cross the border between Gaza and Egypt at "Rafah," our names must be listed on the crossing list (paid permit). The coordinators in Egypt, authorized to add my family’s names to the list at the border, demand between $7,000 and $8,000 per person! They will not add the names until we can prove that we have the money ready.

Unfortunately, our house was completely burned down. One day, I risked my life to take pictures of my house. I was able to record a video of it, heartbroken to see my home destroyed, losing hope that we will ever be able to sleep in our house again.

Please help me get them out. Your assistance will significantly alleviate our suffering. I hope you can share my story with your family and friends.

أنا محمد المدني من غزة، ، أقف أمامكم كشخص يحاول الحفاظ على عائلته التي تتألف من8 أشخاص. نحن نحاول العيش تحت الظروف البائسة في الخيام . من الصعب عليّ أن أجد الكلمات لوصف ما نواجهه كل يوم في غزة. لا طعام، لا دواء، لا مياه شرب نظيفة، قمع، عجز، ضغوط نفسية، شكوك، وصدمات يومية بسبب فقدان الأحباء. في غزة، ليس الأمر مجرد جوع ومرض وخوف؛ بل يعني الموت الفعلي.

الآن، أجد نفسي في هذا الوضع الصعب، وأطلب بشدة وبتواضع مساعدتكم لإنقاذ حياة عائلتي، خاصة اولاد اختى الاطفال وعمتى المريضة وجدتي الكبيرة سناً، من خلال إخراجنا من غزة. أصبحت الحالة في غزة لا تطاق بسبب الموت البطئ نتيجة الجوع والعطش والتشرد وانتشار الأمراض والقصف المتواصل.

منذ السابع من أكتوبر، بسبب القصف المتواصل في غزة هجرنا من بيوتنا في شرق خانيونس. ونزحت عائلتي ثلاث مرات. حاليًا، نعيش في خيمة مع أخوتي و والدي وعمتى المريضة وجدتي الكبيرة سناً، وللأسف تحت ظروف إنسانية متدنية للغاية.نقص في الطعام والماء والمراحيض، والطقس صعب في العيش في خيمة من البلاستيك الرقيق وبكل ما تعنى الكلمة لا نملك أدنى أساسيات الحياة

الأشهر الماضية كانت مليئة بالجحيم والرعب. هذه الحرب استمرت طويلاً، وصحتنا العقلية وحياتنا معرضة باستمرار للخطر. وصلنا إلى مرحلة لا يوجد فيها أمل بعد الآن في غزة وكأننا ننتظر الموت. حتى لو تم الوصول إلى وقف إطلاق النار، فإن الدمار في غزة بكل أشكاله لا يمكن إصلاحه بسرعة

لعبور الحدود بين غزة ومصر في "رفح"، يجب أن تكون أسماءنا مدرجة في قائمة العبور (تصريح مدفوع). يطالبنا المنسقون في مصر، المخولون بإضافة أسماء عائلتي إلى القائمة عند الحدود، بين 7000 و8000 دولار للشخص الواحد! لن يضيفوا الأسماء حتى نستطيع إثبات أن لدينا المال جاهزًا.

لسوء الحظ، تم حرق منزلنا بالكامل و خلال يوم عرضت نفسي للخطر من اجل التقاط صور لمنزلي . كنت قادر على تسجيل فيديو له، منكسرا قلبي لرؤية بيتي مهدوما , فاقدا الأمل أننا لن يتمكنو النوم في بيتهم.
