Help family lay Donnie Bowersox to rest

Hi, I’m Katie Bowersox. I am the daughter of the late Donald Bowersox. My father passed away unexpectedly on June 19th, 2021. His passing has shocked us all and we miss him so much. He was the type of person who would give the shirt off of his back to a stranger. Everyone around him has been reaching out to me asking if there is anything they can do to help. While nothing will bring my dad back, he was a man who lived freely and did not have any plans in place, and we are struggling to find the finances to cover the costs at the funeral home. My dad wanted no services and requested to be cremated. We will be having a celebration of life for my dad when we have the appropriate funds to do so. We don’t normally ask for help, and I greatly appreciate anyone who has donated to help us thus far. My dad would sincerely appreciate the amount of love everyone is showing for him, his daughter and family. He is someone who wouldn’t want us to weep for him but instead smile at his memory.
