Help family of 11 after fire destroys their home

Hi everyone, my names is Angel, and I am starting this fundraiser with the ok from my family. This is to help out my Aunt, Uncle and cousins after a fire destroyed their home. They all escaped with their lives, but now they must start the process from the bottom after losing everything. 

According to my cousin Ashley

“4:30 am Sunday, I jolted up from my sleep, smelling smoke. I woke my husband and we searched the house and saw nothing as we continued to investigate. We walked to the front yard and we noticed it was our garage that was on fire. My husband got the hose and I ran in to set the alarm while screaming fire, for a family of 11 to get out, then running up and helping my parents clear the kids out. By the grace of God, I was woken up from my sleep in time for family to get out safely and all together before the fire got to our children’s rooms. We were also blessed to be able to move our cars.”

You can imagine everything lost in this incredibly traumatic and tragic event.

And as they wait for insurance to process, all the kids still have school and adults work to attend. It’s going to be a very long journey to recovery for all of them, not including the material items lost.

As of right now, they will be houseless for 10 months to a year while they eventually tear down and rebuild.
