Help Family of Four After Severe House Fire

On February 12th, 2024, at 9:00 am, my family’s home was completely engulfed in flames and burned to the ground. Not only was our home impacted, but all of our vehicles were burned as well.

In the blink of an eye, everything was lost, including what my parents have worked tremendously hard for from their 30s until retirement. We are thankful everyone made it out and is intact, and for that, we’re genuinely grateful. Unfortunately, our family cat, Na’la, is still missing. We have been going to the property twice a day in hopes of being reunited with her.

Our family home is more than just a house with walls and floors. It is where memories are created with our loved ones. Our family home was where anyone would reflect and laugh at the early 80s and 90s photos hung on the wall. Pass on family traditions using generational cooking pots, cooking recipes, etc. Our family home was also a place for gatherings and celebrations. Christmas at our house became a tradition, even with different ugly pajamas yearly.

I do not doubt that my family will work diligently to rebuild everything lost. I’m saddened that the home I’ve known since middle school is gone with the recent memories of my son’s milestones in the past four years.
