Help Al Madhoun family evacuate Gaza

Hi! My name is Mahmoud Al Madhoun. I created this GoFundMe to help my cousin Wael Al Madhoun, his wife Samaher, and their kids, evacuate Gaza, so they can be safe from the constant bombing and can receive medical care.

Wael and Samaher have 8 kids - Sharif (19), Mohammed (17), Yousef (14), Farah (12), Abdurahman (10), Zain (8 ), Hala (6), and Ahmed (2). Over the last 11 months, Israel has dropped over 70,000 tons of bombs on the Gaza Strip - that's more explosives than were used in all of WWII. One of these bombs hit the Al Madhoun family's house, and now they have been forced to live in a homemade tent.

After bombing the majority of Gaza’s water infrastructure, agricultural land, and healthcare facilities, Israel is still blocking the majority of trucks carrying food, water, and medical supplies from entering Gaza. Prices for necessities are extremely high. Wael is a civil servant by trade, but the constant bombing has created an untenable economic situation, and he is unable to access enough food, water, and medicine for his family.

Living for months under the constant threat of bombardment has caused anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress for Wael, Samaher, and their kids. The sanitation situation has also caused chronic skin rashes for some of the kids, for which there is no curative medicine available in Gaza. This family is struggling every day just to get food and water, as their health situation deteriorates.
