Help Family of man killed by Hit and Run
On Wednesday, January 6th 2021, DeMarco Head was walking across the street from his house when he was struck by a vehicle. His mother, paramedics, police, and neighbors came to his aid quickly, but he died in the hospital. The driver that struck him fled the scene.
DeMarco was only 25 years-old. He enjoyed cooking (sometimes for his mother) and taking the kids to the park. He liked spending time with his mom, Deloris, who describes him as, “a very intelligent boy with a nice smile.”
He leaves behind his three children, Zay, Eriyon, and Emani, mother Deloris, and older brother Sardarius.
My name is Katie and my husband Kevin and I live on the street where this happened. We heard the accident and ran outside to help and try and make sense of the aftermath. We’ve lived in the area for several years and have become friends with our neighbors, including Deloris.
Deloris experienced the horrific trauma of her son’s accident and death. Please help us ease the burden on Deloris and her family of paying for funeral costs as he didn’t have any insurance and as of now the driver remains at large. The funds will be given to Deloris and used for after-life arrangements.
We’re also raising money to help supply essentials for his children (Deloris’ grandchildren) and family as they navigate this terrible tragedy.
Please help and share if you can.
