Help Family of Man Killed in Bike Collision

Tragically, on Thursday evening, June 9th, Jose Sajbin, was struck by a car while riding his bike in State College, PA. He had traumatic injuries and was life-flighted to a hospital in Altoona. Unfortunately, his injuries were too severe and he died on Friday, June 10th. Jose was a kind and friendly man who worked hard to provide for his family. May he now rest in peace.

 

Jose leaves behind a wife and children. His wife is grieving his sudden death. During this unimaginably difficult time, and while caring for her toddler son, she faces decisions to make plans for his funeral services and his repatriation to his home country of Guatemala. Following the wishes of his parents, sending him back to Guatemala will allow them to grieve and find solace. The financial burden of this for a family that was already struggling to make ends meet is practically impossible. But as a community, we can lift this family up and provide some peace during this tragic event. Please consider donating to help her cover the immediate costs of funeral services, to send his body to Guatemala so he can be in his final resting place, and to support this family who is left without their primary income provider. Trágicamente, el jueves 9 de junio por la noche, José Sajbin fue atropellado por un automóvil mientras andaba en bicicleta en State College, PA.
