Help Family Recover From Car Theft and Totaling
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and community,
We are reaching out to you on behalf our sister’s family, who recently experienced a devastating event. Their only car, a Kia Soul, was stolen and later found totaled. This unfortunate incident has left them without reliable transportation, making it difficult to commute to work, get their kids to school, and other essential trips. They have a young son with special needs who has therapies and appointments to get to. Not only did the thieves total their only vehicle, they threw my nephew’s car seat out on the street and it was not able to be recovered.
To make matters worse, the family is facing challenges with insurance. Due to the high theft rate of their car make and model, they are currently uninsurable, leaving them in a difficult financial situation. My sister took all the precautions to protect her property but the thieves broke the windows and were able to remove the steering wheel club. Now, they are struggling to find a way to replace their car and get back on their feet.
Yolanda and Antwon are a hardworking couple who have always been there to support their friends, family, and community. My sister works from home and cares for their 4 year old and 15 year old sons who are deeply impacted by this unfortunate situation. Antwon is an amazing father who works to support his family and make ends meet. They have been there to offer support to myself and others in times of need and now they need our help more than ever.
We are raising funds to assist them in purchasing a new vehicle and covering any additional expenses they may incur during this difficult time.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in helping my sister’s family recover from this setback. There is no measure of kindness. I want to not only help provide them with the means to regain their independence but also show them that they have a support network that they can lean on.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping to support the Galery/Vinson family during this tough time. Let’s work together to lift them up and help them move forward.
