Help Family Recover from Fire and Hospitalization

Last night my parents house caught fire. They will need emergency housing once they’re released from the hospital and funds to buy immediate clothing and essentials. My grandma is in pretty critical condition. She had to intubated and put into a medically induced coma. My mom, from protecting my grandma, has 3rd degree burns on 16% or her body, on her back, arms, face and scalp. She will most likely be hospitalized several weeks. My grandma sustained burns as well but they wouldn’t let me in to see her when I was there so I’m not sure how bad she is. My dad and uncle are still hospitalized as well for smoke inhalation, but should be discharged in the next few days. My son and his girlfriend made it out safely. The dog made it out with minor injuries and burned fur, but thankfully no burned skin.

My son and his girlfriend’s clothing might not be salvageable as they were in the next room where the fire started, so they had to go yesterday to buy items to at least get them started and already had to spend $500. Their dog, Lucas, leg was damaged during the fire, that vet bill was $800.

My uncle also lost his cash savings that he was saving for a new electric wheelchair as he’s paralyzed from the waist down.
