Help Family Say Goodbye to Vince Fontaine

Donation protected
Legendary Indigenous musician, Vince Fontaine, died suddenly of a heart attack on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Vince was the founder of the internationally celebrated rock bands Eagle and Hawk and Indian City and was widely appreciated as an indefatigable cultural ambassador for Indigenous music the world over.

Though rich in family and friends, achievements, and accolades, Vince’s work achieved only modest financial reward. We would like to invite the wider community to help Vince’s wife, Dorothy, and their three children, Aleah, Gabrielle and Joe, cover the costs associated with celebrations and burial.

Any excess of funds beyond our goal will go to help the family transition to life without their husband and father.

Thank you so very much.
