Help Family Torn Apart by Wrongful Deportation

Hi, my name is Mich, and this beautiful family asked me to create this page after their primary breadwinner was cruelly and wrongfully deported just days before Christmas. This loving husband and father was part of the group of Haitian migrants brutalized by US agents on horseback in Del Rio. Now, he is once again living in fear in Haiti, while his wife, 5-year-old daughter and newborn U.S. citizen son are all waiting for him in Texas.

 

Before fleeing Haiti, he witnessed his cousin’s execution, was held at gunpoint and was shot in the foot, all due to his father’s well-known, non-violent political activism. After he fled Haiti, his family’s persecutors severed his father’s arm with a machete. Despite submitting evidence of all this, DHS has not responded to our several requests to return him to the US. When they deported him, he had a pending case review with the asylum office and no history of violence nor any red flags in his case to justify this cruelty.
