Help Family victimized by drunk driver
Donation protected
On Friday, January 14th, 2022 at approximately 12am, a drunk driver, speeding through town, lost control of his vehicle and drove into our home. He then proceeded to leave the scene before anyone was able to stop him, wrecking into our only vehicle as he left. My family and I are blessed to have not been injured in this horrible and senseless act. However, this person in his negligence has made my home unsafe to even enter at this time as well as wrecked our only vehicle making it undrivable. We are currently being housed at a motel thanks to our landlord.
Normally a family would simply work hard and replace what was broken and damaged and move on. However. Our family is also dealing with some serious medical issues that have given us enough of a burden. This accident is alot for anyone to handle, let alone a family with medical problems as well.
We are in desperate need of a place to live now as well as transportation, as we live in a small Colorado community and it being winter walking is simply not an option for us at this time. Anyone who can donate clothes, maybe a running vehicle for a super reasonable price or point us to an affordable home near our community will be greatly appreciated. I know that times are tough for so many people right now, so even a small amount will help us get our life back. Thank you for reading this and our sincere thanks and prayers go out to those of you who can pass this on and those who can help. Thank you again...
