Help Family who lost everything to the Davis fire
Help Rebuild the Lives of Our Beloved Community Members Affected by the Davis Fire, Washoe Valley NV
Dear Friends and Supporters,I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart to ask for your help for two incredibly deserving individuals who have been devastated by the recent Davis/Washoe Valley Fire. My great Uncle Bob is an 80-year-old retired Vietnam veteran, and my mother Diane is a compassionate soul who has dedicated decades to supporting the elderly and caring for children in Washoe Valley. They have both selflessly given so much to our community, offering their time and love without hesitation.Sadly, the fire has taken everything from them. They escaped with nothing but the clothes on their backs. In addition to losing their home, Uncle Bob is without his medications and hearing aids, essential to his daily life. Dianne, who has been a pillar of support for many, now faces the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch again. Despite their pride and reluctance to ask for help, I can’t stand by and watch them struggle so I have set up this gofundme for them. They have always been there for others, and now it’s our turn to give back. They'd give the shirt off their back to help others. It’s time for us to show them the same kindness they have shown to so many. We’re asking for your support to help them rebuild their lives. Every dollar will go directly to their immediate needs—replacing essential medications, hearing aids, reliable vehicles and the basic necessities to fill a home, as well as helping them find a new place to call home.Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference. Please donate if you can, and share this campaign with your friends and family to help us reach as many people as possible.Thank you for your generosity and support during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness means the world to them and to all of us who care about them. Please reach out if you have any questions.
With heartfelt gratitude,
JoAnna Warthan (Washoe Valley Native, born and raised her in Nevada my entire life, as well as three generations of Warthan's before me.
