Charles Manuel - Arkabutla Mass Shooting

My name is Alyssa Eaves and I started this fundraiser to help my boyfriend’s family after the loss of his grandfather, Charles. Bridgett Manuel-Johnson, Charles’ daughter, has allowed me to set this up and all of the funds will go to the Manuel family for unexpected expenses. 

Charles Edward Manuel unexpectedly and tragically lost his life on February 17, 2023 in Arkabutla, MS.

Charles, also called Charlie or Popee, was a hard-working, determined, and selfless man who made everyone around him feel welcomed and loved. He always brought the life to the party, whether he was singing and playing the guitar or dancing and cracking jokes. He loved music and if there was an instrument around, he was playing it. He always offered a hand to anyone who needed it, no matter the situation. Charles was a man of many hats and he wore them all well.

More than anything, he loved his family. He made sure family was the most important thing and he always put them first. Everybody knew any celebration or holiday would be at his house (better known as ‘The Hill’) and he looked forward to having all of his family together every time. He was the glue that held the family together, and he will be missed terribly.

Any donations will be put towards the funeral and living expenses for the family.
