Help Fares Tafesh's Family Find Safety in Gaza

My name is Abigail Rumney, located in Syracuse, NY, helping Fares Tafesh start this campaign to raise money for his family in Gaza. Fares' story:

My name is Fares, and I am reaching out to you in your time of great need. My family and I currently live in Gaza, and we are facing difficult circumstances due to the genocide crisis in Gaza and the transportation crisis. We have endured over one year of war in Gaza and are facing new naval and air strikes. We are suffering from the effects of the ongoing conflict. As for myself, I lost my job, and we are now living with my grandmother and I no hope of work.

As a family of seven, we are desperate to leave Gaza, as there is nothing left for us here. However, the costs involved make it impossible for us to do this. Depending on our request, we don't know what to do or where to turn for help. In light of these challenges, we humbly ask for your support in the GoFundMe campaign to help us secure the necessary needs to move to the safe zone and start our lives again.

My family is what is left of me from this genocide, and I want us to reach safety together.
