Help Farmington family after tragic house fire MN
Donation protected
My name is Emily Probst, sister to the Myer family whose house burned down in Farmington, MN during the middle of the night this past weekend. I’ve set up this page for family, neighbors, friends and the community who have asked how they can help.
The Myer family is devastated with the loss of their home from a fire that started in the middle of the night and completely turned their lives upside down. Their home, located in the Mystic Meadows neighborhood in Farmington, Minnesota, was a total loss within hours of it starting. This family of four, with two young sons, needs your help during this traumatic experience.
Meet the Myer Family:
Corie and Chris:
Corie is a paraprofessional working at Riverview elementary school in the Farmington school district. She is a former pastry chef and spends countless hours donating her time to making treats for multiple non-profits and for the school. Chris is a garage door repairman and tirelessly works hard to provide for his family. They are hardworking parents who always put their family first.
Charlie and Lincoln:
These two resilient young boys currently attend Riverview Elementary have lost everything including the only home they have ever known.
The Aftermath:
The fire didn't just rob this family of their home, it left them with nothing but the clothes on their back. They are now faced with an overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from nothing. They are faced with many unanticipated expenses.
Thank you for your support and for extending a helping hand to this family in their time of crisis. The support that the community has already shown is the beacon of hope this family so desperately needed.
