Help Fasha the Rez Dog Get Knee Surgery

Fasha has lived her whole life with us as our beloved family fur baby. She is the protector of a Native family of 5, including two disabled elders, one of which is a veteran. She is an energetic German Shepherd mix with a funny sense of humor. A rez dog through-and-through, but more than a little spoiled.

Her favorite activity besides leisurely car rides with her head out the window, is chasing rabbits. Unfortunately, Fasha’s rabbit chasing has led to a torn cruciate ligament (ACL), which is common in dogs that run and may stop short abruptly. A dog of her large size requires surgery to get better.

The surgery cost we were informed will cost from $2000-$5000, which is not something we can afford to pay outright and Fasha needs the surgery sooner rather than later. Absolutely anything helps, and is so much appreciated by this Ho-Chunk Native family! Pinagigi!
