Introduction:

Hello, my name is Fatima and I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request for your support. I live in Toronto, but due to severe and ongoing health issues, I need to travel to Portugal for critical oral/jaw surgery that I simply can’t afford on my own.

The Situation:

For the past few years, I’ve had to remove a couple of teeth and have had 5 root canals done, for the past year I've been feeling discomfort and my overall health has been declining, with a complex array of health problems that have significantly impacted my ability to work and maintain my daily life. After a recent CBCT scan, inflammation and cysts were found on my upper and lower jaw.

One of the most pressing challenges has been severe issues with my jaw and oral health, which have been exacerbated by my overall health condition, such as digestive problems, sleep issues, adrenal fatigue...

After extensive consultations and evaluations, I couldn't find the support needed here in Ontario. It would be astronomical just to have some of the issues addressed.

Financially is more feasible to fly to Portugal for a very complex surgery than do half of what needs to be done here in Ontario.

This surgery is essential not only for improving my quality of life but also for addressing severe pain and preventing further health complications.

The Financial Burden:

The cost of the surgery, combined with travel and accommodation expenses, totals approximately $40.000.00.

Unfortunately, due to my health issues, and raising 3 children and one grandchild on my own, I’ve found it incredibly challenging to work and generate the funds required. This is why I’m reaching out for help.
