Help Fatima and her family survive through the genocide

Hi, my name is Osama Radwan and I’m raising these funds for Fatima and her family.

This is her story:

Hello, my name is Fatima and I am from Gaza-Palestine. I am married and my small family has 4 members. Currently though we all are living with my large extended family, and we are all of us 24 individuals altogether. I have created this campaign to help provide for both my family and my extended family.

I want to say that the most painful thing about this war is my motherhood. The idea that I have no ability to protect my children terrifies me! My children are a piece of my soul and I wish that my arms were enough to hide my kids from this deranged hatred that falls on us. Alas! this cannot be so, and for more than a year, my children and my family are suffering in this war.

My nightmare began on November 5th of 2023, where suddenly without warning missiles and warplanes and artillery shells rained down upon us. My family, and my sweet children had to flee from our beautiful home and our forced displacement and the destruction of all that we knew took less than ten minutes of time.

When fleeing from death, we had nothing but the clothes on our back and now after more than a year we are struggling to survive. We have already been displaced six times and had to leave the North of Gaza, for the South. Still our suffering hasn’t ended as we are now forced into the terrible situation of living in refugee camps ( al-Mawasi camps, Khan Younis) where my large family has no protection from neither heat nor cold, nor from shrapnels except for a flimsy tent.

So please help my family by donating. My campaign is to support my family's daily survival needs. We have lost everything, and now even our clothes, and our shoes which we have had on us for over a year, are in tatters. I want to buy my family winter clothes, blankets, new shoes and clothes for daily lives. I want to buy food, medicines and other essential items of life, all of which now cost ten fold of their standard price. With the winter months coming in, it is necessary for the children, the elderly, and other vulnerable members of the family to have protection of the few remaining shelters. I want to be able to pay the high amount required to rent a shelter. I want to do anything I can for my family to survive. So please donate anything you can and help me save my family. Remember that your donation would go into providing for 24 people. There are 10 children in the family in total- 2 of whom were born during this war. No donation is too small! So please donate.

Breakdown of costs to support the family members:

€12,000: renting a shelter for 12 months

€36,000: daily survival (food, milk, medicine, Pampers, etc)

€4,000: insulated winter clothes

€3,000: new summer clothes

€3,000: shoes

€17,400: exchange commission (30% at the Bank of Palestine)
