Help Fatima Avoid Eviction and Recover

Our dear friend Fatima needs your help.

In 2023 Fatima was involved in a serious car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury, a bulging disc, as well as nerve damage that has affected use of her left arms and hand. This accident was not her fault, however, the legal system failed her and she was unable to get an adequate settlement to cover her recovery and living expenses. Fatima had to spend more than two years focused on her recovery and nothing else due to the severity of her injuries. She has been doing everything she can to deal with this on her own.

She has been unable to work for two year and her disability payments expired almost a year ago so she has been unable to pay rent for the last 5 months. Her landlord has been flexible but is now requiring a significant payment in order to hold off on the eviction process.

I don't think any of her friends fully realized what she has been going through as Fatima has been trying to handle this on her own- but we are at a point where she urgently needs help from friends and neighbors.

Any amount is welcome. The immediate need is to prevent eviction, and any amount over the goal will go towards other bills.
