Help Fatima Continue on her journey
Donation protected
Hi my name is Joe my daughter Fatima had heart failure in Morocco and after spending just over 2 weeks in a Moroccan hospital we where delighted to be air lifted to the UK and have since been awaiting a bed in one of the paediatric transplant centres. The Freeman Hospital in Newcastle or great Ormand Street hospital in London.
We are desperately awaiting a bed space from one of these centres as Fatima is in desperate need of either a VAD or transplant at the soonest possible time in order to survive.
we are also speaking to a transplant centre in France which may become a solution if we fail to secure a bed space in the UK. However this may be cost prohibitive as the cost of moving Fatima to France is very expensive and runs into the tens of thousands of pounds plus the cost of the transplant.
I continue to be at Fatima's bedside on a daily bases and therefore unable to work or do much else however life costs do continue and at present this is becoming very difficult.
We also need to make arrangements for a place to live either in Newcastle or London dependent on which centre we are eventually offered.
Myself and Fatima have no home at present so we do not have anything and need to start from scratch and we hope to do this near whichever centre accepts us as Fatima will require lifelong ongoing care by the relevant transplant centre.
Your Help is appreciated
Lots of gratitude ad appreciation
