Help Feather & Frankie Recover After Eaton Fire ♥
Donation protected
Feather, Frankie, and their sweet little girls need our help.
The morning of January 8th, they heeded evacuation orders in light of the fast-spreading Eaton fire. They urgently gathered up their daughters and pets and rushed to shelter at a friend's house, uncertain of what laid ahead for their beloved community of Altadena.
That evening, Feather told us she'd never been more scared in her life, but that she and her family remained hopeful. Hours later, they received word that their home had burned to the ground.
The home they were elated to purchase together as newlyweds in 2017; the home they poured so much time, heart, and hard-earned money into to make their own over the years; the home that saw the natural births of both their beautiful girls - Winnie (4 yrs) and Onyx (20 mos) - within its very walls. Just... gone. Reduced to rubble and ash.
It goes without saying that Frankie and Feather - like too many others whose lives have been ravaged by these horrific fires - are feeling devastated, lost, and unsure of what comes next for them and their babies. While they are eternally grateful their family is safe, they lost all their worldly possessions in that fire. Please, can you chip in to help get them back on their feet?
No contribution is too small, and if you aren't in a position to donate, sharing this page with your networks would be just as helpful and impactful.
Feather and Frankie are incredible humans that we - Jen and Charlie - are lucky enough to call our dear friends. They're the type of people who always show up for you in times of need and take care of others before taking care of themselves. They were absolutely mortified when we suggested crowdfunding, but we insisted. Because the road to recovery will be long, arduous, and expensive. And they cannot do it alone.
All funds raised will go directly to Feather and Frankie to cover basic immediate needs like food and diapers, and to replace their countless household items lost in the fire.
Please help us show this amazing family they have a community of friends, strangers, and everyone in between who are rooting for them in this nightmarish time. Anything you can do to help will mean the absolute world to them.
Thank you so much, from the bottom of our hearts.
♥ Jen Ho (Los Angeles, CA) & Charlie Neff (Playa del Rey, CA). We have been friends with Feather for 15 years.
