Help feed a child this Easter

Redbridge Council is partnering with Wanstead's Tin in a Bin charity to support families in need this Easter.

The Council already provides families who are entitled to free school meals with food vouchers during the Easter school holidays.

However, there are many families who don’t qualify for free school meals but are struggling to feed their family and Tin in a Bin and Redbridge Council want to help. The cost of living crisis is hitting everyone.

As the holidays approach, Tin in a Bin will be working with Redbridge Council to raise funds so that the voucher scheme can be expanded to include these families and support them during the school holidays.

Our target is to raise at least £4,000 which will help 200 children in Redbridge. The more money we raise, the more vouchers we can provide and the more children we can help to have a healthy and balanced meal during the Easter holidays. Just £20 will feed one child for the whole of the Easter break.
