Help Feed Newport continue helping people in need

Feed Newport CIC has been working extremely hard since before the Covid Pandemic helping feed homeless, vulnerable, people fleeing domestic violence, older people and families who are struggling financially weather that be because of benefit issues, cost of living issues or the hike in energy prices.
Feed Newport offers a referral based food bank, baby bank, community shop & soup kitchen.
We also offer volunteering experience to young people right the way up to retired people.
We are also the only Cultural Food Specialist food bank in South Wales.
We work closely with multiple agencies across Newport. We have seen a huge rise in people needing to use our services.
Unfortunately the energy price hike not only affects households it also affects businesses and charities/Community Interest Companies such as Feed Newport.
We provide help for over 450 people per month and we are sadly expected to see this number rise over the next few months as the weather starts to become colder and the energy prices are set to increase again in October.
We are hoping to raise enough funds to help out with our utilities eg gas, electric and water at Feed Newport over the next year so we can continue to provide the much needed services we provide to the community of Newport.
