Help Feed Our Animals in Crisis
Tax deductible
Friends and Donors,
Crowe's Nest Farm is in desperate need of your help during this on going season of global pandemic! As the educational farm and sanctuary's primary income is reliant upon school tourism, due to COVID-19, schools have cancelled all field trips from March of 2020 thru this spring 2021. That's 65,000 kids! Our busiest seasons of the year have been cancelled with no assurance or cushion of funding for the 300 animals that must be fed! That's right, 300 animals, large and small! Crowe's Nest Farm's revenue during the year comprises of 90% of the annual income for our organization. Without this income, we are unable to sustain the farm. To say the least, this has been financially devastating to a small 501C3 non-profit such as ours.
With no knowledge of the length of time schools can not come, here is a breakdown of our monthly costs of minimum operation:
Food: $4,500
Medicine and Vet Care: $200
Water and Electricity: $1,500
Staff and Employees: $8,400
Other Operating Expenses: $2,500
Just one donation of $20 will provide 1 bale of alfalfa which will provide hay for our Alpacas for 5 days. A donation of $50 will feed our bobcats Sasha and Ms. Kitty for 10 days. A donation of $100 will provide a round bale of coastal hay for our hoof stock. A donation of $500 will feed our Raptors and Reptiles for 2 months.
Help us reach our goal to continue providing life science and agricultural education to children in the Central Texas area and help animals in need of care, food, and shelter. 90% of our animals are rescues in need of sanctuary. Any donation amount is welcome and greatly appreciated! Let us continue this message of hope in the community amidst this crisis.
Please like and share this post with your friends, family, and whoever else might be able to help. Thank you for saving our farm!
